Can I get the Excel 2003 menus back in Excel 2007?

Unfortunately, no. If you really miss the Excel 2003 menus, you will have to get an Add-In, which you will likely have to purchase. To search for vendors for this Add-In, do an Internet search for "excel 2007" + "Excel 2003 menus" (include the double-quotes).

Excel Options
In Excel 2003, Excel options are found under the Tools menu. Excel 2003 Tools, Options In Excel 2007, Excel options are found under the Office Button.

Hiding & unhiding worksheets

Inserting PivotTables
In Excel 2003, you insert a pivot table by using the Data menu, PivotTable and PivotChart Report submenu which opens a three step wizard.

In Excel 2007, you insert a pivot table by going to the Insert ribbon. The PivotTable icon should be the first on the left.

The Zoom window
In Excel 2003, the Zoom window is on the right hand side of the Standard toolbar. Excel 2003 Zoom
The Zoom window acts as a drop down box and a textbox. If you click the downward-pointing black triangle, a drop down box appears with several preset zoom percentages. The one called "Select" zooms out to 400%. If you click inside the text box (the white part that has 100% in it as a default value), you can enter a percentage of your own choosing, say 85%, and press the Enter key. The active window will zoom down to 85%.
In Excel 2007, the Zoom feature is down in the lower right hand corner of the Status bar. It is a slider bar that zooms from 10% on the left to 400% on the right.

If you click on the 100% to the left of the negative symbol, A Zoom dialog box pops up (below).

In Excel 2003, when you edit a cell in the formula bar and select the content, the entire formula bar was selected, which was off putting since it appeared that unnecessary content to the right was also selected.

In Excel 2007, when you edit a cell in the formula bar and select the content, only the content that you select is highlighted.
