UseExcel: Excel 2007 Page Setup and Print Preview
Whether you are at work or at home, it's always a good idea to Print Preview what you want to print in Excel. If you do not Print Preview your work, you
risk wasting paper, ink and expensive ink cartridges, especially at home.
Here is what our work looked like in the Excel 2007 Common Tasks page.
Navigate to the Page Layout ribbon. Then look for the Print Area icon.
Select the range that you want to print. Then click on Print Area, Set Print Area.
Notice that Excel puts a border of short dashed lines around the print area.
Now that the Print Area has been set, navigate to the Office Button, then Print, then Print Preview.
Notice that the screen shot gives us the keyboard shortcut for Print Preview: Ctrl-F2.
